The place was lovely! The pictures on the website did not do it justice as we are astonished by how beautiful the castle and the park were. The food was also good and the wine was great! Staff was kind and welcoming even though we had a big group with children and babies. 10/10 recommend!
The castle is worth a visit. The museum is interesting. It covers the family history. First part of the museum is dedicated to the GIB Group who owned GB (Grand Bazar) super/hypermarkets, Brico, Inno (department store), Quick restaurants, which the fsmily owned.
Nowadays the family is invested in their own wine-making, which is located on the castle grounds. The second part of the museum covers the wine and distillery
The gardens are worth a visit as well, as it parly a castle garden and a vineyard.
The reason i'm giving a low score, is the total lack of hospitality.
There's very little public parking space nearby, especially on market days.
There is plenty parking space inside, but we were arrogantly informed by the owners that it's reserved for suppliers only.
Secondly only wine is served at the bar, so any non-alcoholic drinkers can't get anything to drink. This total lack of customer service bewildered us, I'm pretty sure you get more people to buy wine if you offer a better service.
I was there with my wife and 2 year old daughter. Really nice place to taste some wine, stroll around the castle and pass a very nice afternoon 😊 🍷🥂
We will definitely return 👍
Highly recommended 👌 …
A very lovely castle with great garden and a nice wine tasting offer. The museum was okish , we just came for the wine and atmosphere
10 euro self guided tour that was exceptionally informative. Nice staff. Super 273 +/- old trees in the garden. Awesome
Beautiful chateau. Great wines and very friendly service. Dog friendly too!
Wine tasting is expensive with absolutely no explanation. We have been pushed to the museum, which is absolutely devoid of interest (9€). Too bad
We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this property, don't miss the beautiful gardens. I'd give five stars except that we found the €9 entrance fee on the expensive side as it does not include any wine sampling whatsoever, not even a discount off the tasting menu.
